The cut faceted edge catches the light inside the car and gives this 3.5 cm medal a clearly visible size. The silver-coloured relief shows St Christopher with the Child Jesus, intended for everyone who wants to have him with them in the car.

In the calendar reform of 1969, the feast of St Christopher was removed from the General Roman Calendar because historical evidence is lacking. He is nevertheless still venerated: he remains in the Roman Martyrology, and in the German-speaking world his feast day is still celebrated.
