In Christian imagery the dove stands for the Holy Spirit and for peace. On this glass cross it appears on a gold-coloured plaque that throws the light back warmly and draws the eye to the centre of the cross. The clear glass with its satin-finished white edges looks understated and suits modern and classic rooms alike. For a child's room, a prayer corner or a bedroom it is a calm centrepiece. As a gift for a christening, Communion or Confirmation it accompanies a person for a long time.
The cross is made of crystal glass with satin-finished white edges that feel velvety soft, while the clear surfaces stay smooth and cool. The gold-coloured metal eyelet is firmly fitted, and a nail or hook is enough. At around 200 g it feels solid in the hand. According to the manufacturer, it is handmade in Germany. Before dispatch it is blessed by a Catholic priest, and a business-card-sized certificate showing the date of the blessing is enclosed.
