At a christening, First Holy Communion, Protestant Confirmation, Confirmation or wedding, the candle plays a central role, and it is often held for a long time, at the entrance procession, during the blessing or the handing over of the candle. The drip protector catches running wax and keeps it away from hands, sleeves and festive clothing. That is especially helpful when children carry the candle. You have less to worry about wax stains and can concentrate on the moment. The seven colours can be chosen to match a dress, suit or decoration.
The wax catcher is made of fine, light tulle fabric with a shape-retaining edge finish. It weighs about 20 g and is simply slipped over the candle shaft. It is designed for taper candles of about 1 to 4.5 cm in diameter and therefore sits securely on candles of different sizes. After use it can be cleaned when needed and is reusable. So you can keep it and use it again at a later celebration. White, white-gold, white-silver, light blue, dark blue, pink and rosé are available to choose from.
