A glass cross changes with the day. In the morning it looks clear and cool; in low sunlight the blue and green tones light up. In its colours this cross recalls water, which in the Christian tradition is linked with baptism. In a child's room in particular, this creates a friendly, calm mood. As a gift for a christening, Communion or Confirmation it is a sign that stands apart from the usual wooden crosses and yet remains, quite naturally, a sign of faith.
This cross is handmade in Germany from glass. A clear, transparent frame surrounds a filling of speckled, textured glass in blue and green tones, with a darker blue accent in the middle. At around 200 g the cross feels pleasantly heavy in the hand and looks high-quality. Because every piece is made by hand, the structure and colour gradient differ slightly – every cross is a one-off. It is intended for hanging on a wall indoors and should be handled with care.
