Small Christian Gifts Under €15

Small gifts: olive wood comfort cross, fish keyring and olive wood bell

In short: A Christian gift does not have to be expensive. We have plenty of pieces up to €15 that suit Secret Santa, Advent calendars, St Nicholas, Confirmation and birthdays: olive wood pendants from €9.90, keyrings, magnets and pin badges. Most of them are blessed. For groups and parishes there is a quantity discount from 10 items (not valid for wooden statues from the woodcarving workshop).

Sometimes you just need a small gift: for the Secret Santa round at the parish, for a colleague, for the children in a religious education group, for an Advent calendar or as a little something to bring. It should not feel random, and it should not cost much. Good small gifts show that you thought of the other person. Here are our ideas up to €15, sorted by occasion.

For the Advent calendar and the St Nicholas boot

Small things fit into every little door and every boot. What matters is that the piece cannot break and has a meaning.

You can read all about St Nicholas in our article St Nicholas, and about Advent in Advent: Meaning, Customs and the Advent Wreath.

For Secret Santa and the Christmas party

Secret Santa often has an upper limit of €10 to €15. A gift with meaning stands out in a good way:

With the velvet pouches with a cross (set of 10, €12.90), any pendant becomes a nicely wrapped gift. Many items also come with a velvet pouch already.

For keys, the car and everyday life

For teenagers and Confirmation

Teenagers often prefer to wear something understated. These work well:

The right card makes the gift

A small gift feels bigger with a few lines. You do not have to write elegantly. Three sentences are enough: what I like about you, why I chose exactly this, what I wish for you. It is best to write the card yourself and enclose it with the gift. If the recipient finds faith difficult, a simple wish such as “May it be with you” is enough.

Why small gifts with meaning work

A small gift stays in the memory when it suits the person and is not random. Many people receive a mug or a candle. A pendant made of olive wood with a nativity motif, or a guardian angel magnet on the fridge, reminds them of the giver every time. With a small budget in particular, that is the difference: you show that you gave it some thought, even though you spent little.

On top of that, small religious items are often kept longer than others. Many people hang the pendant on the tree again every year for years, or carry the keyring until it is worn smooth. If a certificate with the date of the blessing is included as well, it becomes a little keepsake.

Three combinations for under €25

  • For children: guardian angel magnet (€13.90) plus olive wood angel pendant (€9.90), together €23.80.
  • For drivers: St Christopher keyring (€14.90) plus a velvet pouch from the set of 10 for wrapping.
  • For guests and hosts: three olive wood pendants at €9.90 each as place cards, each with its own motif.

What to bear in mind

  • Does it suit the person? Ask yourself: would they want to see it? Someone with little connection to faith will be more pleased with an angel than with a crucifix.
  • Wrapping: A velvet pouch, a piece of kraft paper and a ribbon are enough. Nothing more is needed.
  • Timing: Small gifts are quickly forgotten, so order them early and put them aside.

For parishes, schools and groups

If you need lots of small items, for example for First Holy Communion children, altar servers, Confirmation candidates or choir singers, our quantity discount is worthwhile (not valid for wooden statues from the woodcarving workshop). It applies to the total quantity of your order and can be combined freely:

  • from 10 items: 10%
  • from 25 items: 15%
  • from 50 items: 20%

We prepare the quote for you on request. All the details are on our Quantity Discount page. You can reach us by phone on +49 30 2178 2502 (German and English) or by email at hallo@lunexus.world. Parishes can buy on invoice (15-day payment terms).

Blessed: what does that mean with us?

A Catholic priest from the Diocese of Fulda blesses many items in our warehouse. A business-card-sized certificate showing the date of the blessing is included with the parcel. Not all items are blessed. The product title says whether an item is. Items are shipped via Amazon's logistics network – free within Germany, €5.90 to Austria and France; Italy €6.90, Spain €6.90. You have 30-day returns.

You will find more to choose from in the collections Keyrings, Magnets and Medals and Blessed Items. Larger Christmas gifts can be found in our article Christian Christmas Gifts: 20 Ideas with Meaning.

Frequently asked questions

What can you give Christians for under €15?

Olive wood pendants, keyrings, magnets, pin badges and simple cross necklaces cost from €5.90 to €15. With a personal card they feel like a real gift.

Which small gift suits Secret Santa?

Something neutral with meaning, such as an olive wood pendant with a nativity motif, a holding cross or a keyring. If you do not know their tastes, a simple cross is the safest choice.

Is there a discount if I need lots of small gifts?

Yes, for parishes, schools and groups: 10% from 10 items, 15% from 25, 20% from 50 (not valid for wooden statues from the woodcarving workshop). The quote is available on request; contact hallo@lunexus.world.

Are the small gifts blessed too?

Many are, but not all. The product title says which ones are blessed. A Catholic priest from the Diocese of Fulda blesses them in our warehouse, and a certificate with the date is included.

How early should I order gifts for Advent?

Ideally at the end of October or in November. We do not state a fixed delivery time, so allow a few days’ buffer.
