The white cross on the black velvet is plain and clear. It turns a simple pouch into fitting packaging for Christian occasions such as a christening, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Protestant confirmation or a church wedding. You can hand over small crosses, prayer cards, devotional pictures or favours in them. For group activities such as children's church, First Holy Communion preparation or altar servers' groups, each child receives a pouch of their own with a cross symbol, which can be used again at home later. Ten pouches in the set are enough for families, groups and parishes.
Each pouch is about 10 cm high and 9 cm wide and is made of soft, tightly woven black polyester velvet. The soft surface protects delicate contents such as jewellery or a rosary. A sturdy drawstring closes the pouch securely and opens easily. The set of ten pouches weighs about 200 g altogether. After the celebration you can fold the pouches and store them compactly, to reuse them on journeys, at further celebrations or to keep small items in order.
