Description & details

A bell with room for the Holy Family: this olive wood pendant is worked by hand in Bethlehem and hangs on a gold and a silver ribbon. Natural (untreated) and smoothly sanded, it shows the grain of the wood.

The Holy Family – Mary, Joseph and the Child Jesus – is a motif that Luke and Matthew link with the birth in Bethlehem. The bell shape echoes the Christmas feast. Olive wood is a familiar material for religious carvings in Bethlehem, and since the story of Noah the olive branch has been regarded as a sign of peace.

  • Material: genuine olive wood from Bethlehem, natural (untreated) and finely sanded
  • Motif: Holy Family in a bell shape
  • Hanging: gold and silver ribbon, 20 cm each, with fastener
  • Contents: pendant, two ribbons, certificate card with the date of the blessing

As an Advent gift, a winter table decoration or a birthday present, it is a fitting choice. The calm motif also suits First Holy Communion, Confirmation and Protestant confirmation.

A Catholic priest blesses the pendant in our warehouse; the date of the blessing is on the enclosed card. Amazon's logistics network takes care of shipping – free within Germany, €5.90 to Austria and France; Italy €6.90, Spain €6.90, with 30-day returns.
