Würzburg Crucifix – Hand-Carved Wooden Cross from South Tyrol

“Würzburger Kruzifix” (Würzburg crucifix) is the workshop's designation. Whether, and which, Würzburg model is meant cannot be documented, so we stay with the basic meaning: the crucifix recalls Jesus' death on the cross and is a sign of faith and redemption.
