Description & details

The Tree of Life Cross is a wooden cross without a corpus, in front of which a carved tree grows upwards. The trunk winds up the upright, branches and leaves wrap around the crossbeam, and roots and foliage show at the bottom. Narrow strips flash between the beams.

The name comes from the workshop; the product data do not interpret it. The tree on the cross is an old Christian image: in tradition the cross is also called the “tree of life”. Here the motif is expressly carved, with foliage and roots.

  • Finishes: Multicolour stained (three stain tones with wax), natural with gold, hand-painted (painted with oil colours), hand-painted (variant 2) and antique genuine gold leaf

The Tree of Life Cross is especially lovely as a christening gift or for a wedding, because the tree brings growth and roots to mind.
