Description & details

A dark red decorative border frames the silver-coloured relief on this St Christopher car medal. At Ø 2.5 cm it is small and unobtrusive. The motif: the saint with the Child Jesus, made in France.

Whoever venerates St Christopher draws on a very old tradition: he was venerated early on in Lycia, in what is now Turkey, although hardly anything is certain about his life. People have passed his image on until it arrived on the dashboard.
