Description & details

At 8.5 cm long, with a medal 3.4 cm in diameter, this St Christopher keyring is well proportioned. The metal relief showing the saint and the Child Jesus sits in an olive wood frame.

According to legend, the staff with which the giant Christopher crossed the river put out leaves. By name he is a “Christ-bearer”, and that is how he appears on the pendant: with the child on his shoulder. The famous example is the large figure of St Christopher in Cologne Cathedral.
