Description & details

This dove is carved from the wood, not sawn out or printed. The pendant measures approx. 2.0 × 2.0 cm, and the brown nylon cord picks up the tone of the wood so that the necklace looks calm and uniform.

The bird has several meanings in the Christian faith: at the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan, the dove is the sign of the Holy Spirit. From the story of Noah we know it with the olive branch as a sign of peace. The olive branch, incidentally, suits the material, since an olive tree also supplies this wood.
