This wooden statue shows one of the two men crucified with Christ: the thief on the right, who hangs on the crossbeam in an open-collared shirt. It is carved and painted in Val Gardena, an unusual piece for collectors of Passion figures or for anyone who wants to extend their crucifixion group.
The thief on the right means the repentant thief at Jesus' right hand, to whom Paradise is promised in the Gospel of Luke. Tradition gives him the name Dismas, and his feast day in the Western Church is 25 March. The figure can be displayed on its own or used alongside a crucifixion group.
- Heights: 12, 15, 20 and 30 cm

On Good Friday and in Passiontide, some families bring out their Passion figures; this one suits that purpose or makes a gift for people who reflect on guilt and forgiveness. It is also conceivable for a parish or a hospital chapel.
