A cross that tells a story: this metal cross pendant bears a relief of a shepherd and his sheep; the flock can be seen in the crossbar, and a dove hovers above. The surface is silver-coloured, and it was made in Italy.

The shepherd is an early image of Christ: in the Gospel of John, Jesus speaks of the good shepherd who knows his sheep. In the Bible the dove stands for the Holy Spirit and, with the olive branch from the story of Noah, for peace. Together with the cross it becomes a sign of security in faith.
