Contemplative Resurrected Christ – Hand-Carved in South Tyrol

The Contemplative Resurrected Christ is a wooden cross with the figure of the risen Christ. He spreads his arms, and behind him offset beams cross in warm gold and sand tones. The piece was hand-carved and painted in Val Gardena.

“Besinnlich” (contemplative) is the workshop’s designation for this model. In Christianity the cross is regarded as a sign of faith and redemption, and the risen Christ recalls the feast of Easter.

• To choose from: hand-painted (oil colours, gold leaf and silver leaf details, finally fixed with lacquer); antique genuine gold (fine craquelé surface, gilding with real gold leaf and painting – looks like an old original)
• Material: Resurrected Christ: wood from the Val Gardena valley, mainly lime wood, depending on size also maple or Swiss stone pine

On the wall in the hallway, the living room or the chapel, this cross gives a room a calm focal point, for example for a house move or at Easter.
