For centuries the rosary has joined prayer with a gesture of the hands. At the centre of this rosary sits a Madonna plaque showing the praying Mother of God, a sign of intercession and trust. At the end the crucifix with its INRI plaque recalls Jesus Christ. The red glass beads look warm and festive without being loud, and lie smooth in the hand. Whether you choose it for yourself or give it for First Holy Communion, Confirmation or a wedding, it is a quiet sign of personal faith.
The beads are made of glass and marbled red, each showing a slightly different gradation from ruby red to red-brown. According to the manufacturer, the cream-coloured Our Father beads are imitation mother-of-pearl with silver caps. The link chain in silver-coloured metal is robust and about 50 cm long. According to the manufacturer, the rosary is handmade in Poland. Before shipping, a Catholic priest blesses it in the LUNEXUS warehouse; the business-card-sized certificate with the date of the blessing is enclosed. So it is a gift that needs no further preparation.
