A Marian necklace for every day: the blue pendant shows the motif of the Miraculous Medal, set in stainless steel, and hangs on a 60 cm chain. If you are looking for a Marian necklace to accompany a prayer in everyday life, here is a clear motif.
The name “Miraculous Medal” arose because, after 1830, reports of answered prayers spread, for example during the cholera epidemic in Paris in 1832. Catherine Labouré had reported the apparitions of Mary, which are recognised by the Church but are not binding for belief. The reverse of the medal shows an M with a cross and two hearts. Feast day of the medal: 27 November.
