On this necklace the heart sits in the middle of the cross: a heart cut-out opens up the cross shape at its centre. At approx. 6.5 × 6.5 cm, the pendant is the larger of the heart-and-cross variants and sits clearly visible on the chest.

In the Christian faith cross and heart belong together: the cross recalls Christ's self-giving, the heart the love from which it came. Whoever wears both on a necklace professes this love without saying a word. Because the heart cut-out breaks through the wood, the grain around the edge has particularly generous room to show.
