Description & details

In a simple teardrop shape, the Holy Family with the Child Jesus stands beneath the star of Bethlehem on this olive wood pendant. It measures approx. 8.0 × 5.0 cm, is light (approx. 14 g) and comes with a gold-coloured ribbon that can be attached flexibly.

In the Christmas story Mary accepts the Child, and Joseph follows the dream in which an angel appears to him, and takes Mary to himself (Mt 1). His greatness lies in action: not a single word of his is recorded. More about the foster father of Jesus can be found in theLexicon of saints entry on St Joseph. The wood gives the pendant further meaning, for Bethlehem is the place where, according to Luke, the family arrived.

  • Dimensions: approx. 8.0 × 5.0 cm, approx. 14 g
  • Motif: Holy Family with the Child Jesus and the star of Bethlehem
  • Surface: smoothly sanded, natural grain, every piece one of a kind
  • Hanging: gold-coloured ribbon, approx. 20 cm

The teardrop shape suits a window handle, a mirror or a branch. For Christmas, a birthday, a christening or First Holy Communion, you give a motif that puts family at the centre.

This pendant is blessed here by a Catholic priest and comes with a card showing the date of the blessing. It travels via Amazon's logistics network – free within Germany, €5.90 to Austria and France; Italy €6.90, Spain €6.90. 30-day returns. Because of the size of the parts, the pendant is intended only for children aged 3 and over.
