In its book shape the box recalls a small prayer book or devotional book and goes well with a candle, a Bible or a rosary. You can keep a medal, a small cross, a delicate chain or a finger rosary safely in it and take it with you, at home, on journeys or on a pilgrimage. When a medal or a small cross is given as a gift, the box makes a simple gift box, for instance for a christening, First Holy Communion, Protestant confirmation or Confirmation. The oval field on the lid can be personalised if you wish.
The box is made of thin, silver-coloured sheet metal with an oval decorative embossing and a hinge. A blue plastic insert holds small items together and protects them from scratches. The small version measures 5.4 × 4.4 × 1.5 cm, the large one 6.6 × 4.5 × 1.5 cm. Both are light and made for organising and presenting devotional items. They are not waterproof, not shockproof and have no lock. A soft, dry cloth is enough for cleaning. The box is delivered empty, without contents.
