A crucifix shows the cross with the image of the crucified Jesus Christ. In Catholic homes it traditionally hangs in the living room, above the door or in the Herrgottswinkel (the crucifix corner). This crucifix is small and simple so that the figure stays at the centre. It fits in many places, in the nursery as well as in the hallway or bedroom. As a gift for a christening, First Holy Communion or Confirmation, it accompanies a child for many years and recalls a special day.
The cross is made of beech wood which, according to the manufacturer, comes from Germany. It is untreated, velvet-smooth sanded and shows a natural grain. The silver-coloured corpus is made of metal, finely worked and firmly set. The manufacturer describes the crucifix as handmade in Germany. Before dispatch it is blessed by a Catholic priest in the LUNEXUS warehouse; a business-card-sized certificate showing the date of the blessing is enclosed. The velvet pouch protects the crucifix and doubles as gift wrapping.

A Catholic priest visits us regularly and blesses newly arrived goods right here in our warehouse. Each blessed item comes with a certificate showing the date of the blessing.
Because the blessings take place at different times, each certificate may carry a different date.
