With folded hands the angel stands in a bell of olive wood: a calm motif for anyone looking for a companion in prayer. The pendant measures approx. 7.5 × 5.5 cm and is handmade in Bethlehem.

The Bible speaks in many places of angels who accompany people and bring them messages; in the Christmas story, too, they proclaim the good news. The Church remembers the guardian angels on 2 October. Guardian angels are not saints but creatures of God, whose help people ask for.
