The crucifix shows Jesus Christ on the cross, with the plaque bearing the inscription INRI above him. Worked in glass, it takes in the light and gives it back in cool white and blue. That makes the cross a calm, friendly focal point in a child's room, a prayer corner or at a home altar. It appeals to children as much as to adults and, as a gift for a christening, First Holy Communion or Confirmation, is a lasting reminder of a special day in the faith.
The cross is made of crystal glass and is translucent. The manufacturer describes each piece as a handmade one-of-a-kind in white and blue and gives Germany as the country of origin. The corpus and INRI plaque are part of the cross, and the surface is smooth. It is intended for wall mounting. Before dispatch it is blessed by a Catholic priest in the LUNEXUS warehouse; a business-card-sized certificate showing the date of the blessing is enclosed. Glass is delicate, so some care is sensible when hanging and cleaning it.

A Catholic priest visits us regularly and blesses newly arrived goods right here in our warehouse. Each blessed item comes with a certificate showing the date of the blessing.
Because the blessings take place at different times, each certificate may carry a different date.
