The Divine Mercy wall picture in 25 × 14 cm shows Christ with rays of light and carries the words “Jesus, ich vertraue auf Dich” (“Jesus, I trust in You”). It is a picture for the living room, hallway or prayer corner – anywhere you want a moment of trust.

The motif goes back to the Polish religious sister Faustina Kowalska, who died in Kraków in 1938. In her diary the sister recorded that Jesus had appeared to her with two rays, one red and one pale; the rays are interpreted as blood and water. Such apparitions are private revelations and not binding for Catholics. The Sunday after Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday. You will find more motifs underJesus Christ.
