The heart-shaped guardian angel picture is a gift that says something through its very shape: at 14 × 15.5 cm it shows an angel with a lantern over a sleeping child, set in a solid wood frame.

The lantern in the dark and the resting child combine two thoughts that belong together in devotion to the guardian angel: watchfulness and trust. That an angel stands at the side of every person is, according to Catholic teaching, a belief from the beginning of life. The Bible says: “their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven” (Mt 18:10).
