Glass Cross 19.5×13.5 cm Rainbow with Gold Ring – Wall Cross, Blessed

Rainbow colours as a sign of the covenant

In the biblical account, the rainbow recalls God's promise to humankind. In this glass cross, rainbow-coloured segments glow in the clear glass and, in sunlight, cast coloured reflections onto the wall. That makes it a friendly cross for a child's room or for a place at the window. The gold-coloured ring with its leaf decoration adds extra warmth. As a gift for a christening, Communion or Confirmation it is a colourful, personal sign of faith that keeps a special day in memory.

Fused glass from Germany

The segments are fused into the clear glass using the fused glass technique, so the surface stays smooth. The cross weighs around 200 g and measures 19.5 × 13.5 cm. The gold-coloured metal ring carries a filigree leaf decoration and also serves as the hanging loop. According to the manufacturer, it is handmade in Germany. Before dispatch it is blessed by a Catholic priest, and a business-card-sized certificate showing the date of the blessing is enclosed. Padded gift packaging protects the glass in transit.
