Description & details

A child plays unawares at the edge of a cliff, and an angel is with them. This guardian angel picture in 12 × 17 cm shows something parents know: children look at the game, the adults see the abyss.

The motif is related to the bridge over the abyss, the classic guardian angel picture, but relies on tension rather than calm. It recalls the psalm's words about angels who are to guard people “in all your ways” (Ps 91:11). No promises for everyday life can be derived from it – but a trust that you can pass on to children can.

  • Dimensions: approx. 12 × 17 cm (outer size incl. frame), approx. 280 g
  • Finish: Art print on a backing board, real glass front, solid wood frame with a gold patina
  • Hanging: on the back, fittings enclosed
  • Origin: Germany

It suits parents looking for a picture with depth, as a christening or birthday gift, or for grandparents who want to express their thoughts about their grandchildren with a picture.

The picture of the cliff edge is blessed in our warehouse by a Catholic priest and delivered with a certificate card. Shipping via Amazon's logistics network is free in Germany; to Austria and France it costs €5.90. Returns: 30 days.
