In the middle sits a small golden sun, from which rays extend into the arms of the cross; the ends carry small squares in gold and silver.

The model name is a designation by the workshop. The layered construction gives the plain cross depth without changing its form. For many Christians the cross remains a sign of faith, and the rays add a bright accent.

Heights: 42 cm, 50 cm, 70 cm

Finish: hand-painted: oil colours, gold leaf and silver leaf details, fixed with lacquer

Material: wood from the Val Gardena valley (mainly lime wood, depending on size also maple or Swiss stone pine)

It suits the Herrgottswinkel (the traditional crucifix corner), a hallway with plenty of wall, or a gift for the opening of a parish room.
