It is carved by hand in Val Gardena and suits everyone who bears the name Otto or feels connected with Bamberg.

Otto was Bishop of Bamberg from 1102, founded monasteries and, as a missionary, brought Christianity to Pomerania. He died on 30 June 1139 and was canonised in 1189; his feast day is 30 June. He is venerated as patron saint of the Archdiocese of Bamberg and as co-patron of the Archdiocese of Berlin.
