A fine relief radiates behind the saint with the Child Jesus, with a small rose as an additional motif.

The lettering can be read as a request that fits a prayer. The Lexicon of saints offers a simple wording for it: may Christopher, who carried Christ, intercede for all who are on the road, and help us to drive attentively and arrive safely. The medal is a sign of faith, not a technical safeguard.

Dimensions: 3.6 cm wide × 2.6 cm high, weight approx. 20 g

Shape: rectangular, silver-coloured relief with rayed background

Motif: St Christopher with the Child Jesus, rose and the text “Beschütze mich” (“protect me”)

Fixing: magnetic or with adhesive strip

Origin: Italy

The medal suits people who like to send a word with someone on their way: for passing the driving test, a birthday or before a long journey.
