It is for people who are looking for a crucifix with character: for the chapel, the parish meeting room or your own study.

The name recalls Tilman Riemenschneider, who was born around 1460 in Heiligenstadt and died on 7 July 1531 in Würzburg. He was a sculptor at the turn from the late Gothic to the Renaissance; altars, triumphal cross groups and individual crucifixes came out of his workshop. Which of his crucifixes served as the model here is not documented.

Sizes: 40 cm

Finish: antique genuine gold leaf (fine craquelure surface, gilded with real gold leaf and painted)

Wood: wood from the Val Gardena valley – mainly lime wood, depending on size also maple or Swiss stone pine

The antique finish makes it look as if the cross had hung in its place for a long time.
