The figure is carved by hand in Val Gardena and is intended for a chapel, parish hall or a place of honour in the living space.

“Giner” is the workshop’s designation for this model; no historical model can be documented, so we read nothing into the name. The cross itself remains what it is for Christians: a sign of faith and redemption, here in a finish that recalls old church furnishings.

Sizes: 60 cm

Finish: antique genuine gold (fine craquelé surface, gilding with real gold leaf and painting)

Wood: wood from the Val Gardena valley – mainly lime wood, depending on size also maple or Swiss stone pine

The finish looks like an old original because the surface is finely cracked. This makes the Giner Crucifix suit furniture with a patina and rooms that already have their history.
