The arms are spread wide, a cloth in a warm red and orange tone lies around the hips, and the INRI sign sits at the top.

The addition “simple” refers to the cross: it does without ornament, and the figure stands at the centre. The crucifix recalls the death of Jesus on the cross and is seen by many believers as a sign of self-giving and redemption. The plain form works in modern as well as classical rooms.

Sizes: 15 cm, 20 cm, 30 cm, 40 cm, 60 cm

Finish: hand-painted (oil colours, gold leaf and silver leaf details, lacquer)

Wood: mainly lime wood, depending on size also maple or Swiss stone pine, from the Val Gardena valley

For Communion or Confirmation, the plain crucifix is a gift that young people can take into their room.
