Golden edges frame the beams. The relief is made by hand in Val Gardena, a piece for modern rooms.

The name Christ in the Storm is a model name used by the workshop. We do not interpret it but describe what you see: the body of Christ on the cross, surrounded by moving forms. For Christians the cross remains a sign of faith and redemption, here in a restless, contemporary language.

Heights: 20, 30, 40 and 60 cm

Finish: hand-painted – oil colours, gold leaf and silver leaf details, fixed with lacquer

Wood: wood from the Val Gardena valley – mainly lime wood, depending on size also maple or Swiss stone pine

The crucifix suits living spaces with plain furnishings as well as parish halls, hospital chapels or counselling rooms.
